Adding a new page

To add a new page to your website go to "Pages" and click "Create page".

Now enter the page's properties.


Title: the title of the page

Page Name: the filename of the page.

Optional Redirect: the URL to which the page will forward.

Under Menus

Main Menu: select "Yes" or "No" to show or hide this page on the main menu.

Drop Down Menu: select "Yes" or "No" to show or hide this page on the drop down menu, then enter the text which will be displayed on the drop down menu. Please note: Not all sites have a drop down menu.

Subpage Menu: select "Yes" or "No" to show or hide this page on the subpage menu, then enter the text which will be displayed on the subpage menu.

Under Security

Use Password Protection: select "Yes" to protect the page with a username and password, or "No" to leave the page accessible to all visitors.

Username: the username needed to access this page

Password: the password needed to access this page

Protect Subpages: select "Yes" to protect this page's subpages with the username and password entered above, or "no" to leave this page's subpages accessible to all visitors.? If you choose to protect your subpages, you can still override this username and password with another username and password specific to each subpage.

Under Meta Tags

Description: a short description of the page

Keywords: the words which will be used to rank your page on search engines

When finished click "Save Changes".
