Viewing and Exporting Mailing List Members

There are three ways to see who is subscribed to one of your mailing lists. If you want the addresses in a spreadsheet, use the Export button described first.

Exporting members to a spreadsheet

In the Site Manager, go to Email > Mailing Lists. Each list has an Export button. Click it and your browser downloads a .csv file named after the list and today's date.

The file contains one row per subscriber, with four columns:

  • Email - the subscriber's address
  • Name - the display name, where one was recorded. Many subscribers have none, and that is normal
  • Subscription - Regular or Digest
  • Delivery - Enabled, or Disabled if mail to that member is currently switched off

The file opens directly in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

Members whose delivery is disabled are included in the export and marked, rather than left out. They are still subscribed, so if you are exporting in order to move to another provider, you will want them.

Viewing members in the Site Manager

Go to Email > Mailing Lists, click Manage for the list, and open Membership Management. This is also where you add, remove, and edit individual subscribers.

Viewing the whole list on one page

To see every member together in your browser, log in to the mailing list and then visit:

https://[yourdomain]/mailman/roster/[list_yourdomain]

For example:

https://orthodoxws.com/mailman/roster/list_orthodoxws.com

Substitute your own domain and list name, following the convention above. Note that the list name and the domain are joined with an underscore.
