If you already have an account with Tithe.ly and would like to receive the discounted rates for OWS customers and integrate your existing Tithe.ly account with the Site Manager, please follow these steps:
Through Tithe.ly:
- Contact support@tithe.ly asking them to create API credentials.
- Ask Tithe.ly to give you the Orthodox Web Solutions, 2.75% discount.
- Make any donation, even $1.00, using the email address that is associated with the primary administrator account. Note: This step is temporarily necessary until Tithe.ly updates their API.
Through Orthodox Web Solutions
- Go to "Donations" -> "Configuration" in the Site Manager.
- Click "Existing Account?"
- Enter your Tithe.ly account's email address and Organization Name.
- Enter your Tithe.ly API keys, which a Tithe.ly support representative will provide for you.
The integration allows you to manage your donors, transactions, and campaigns as well as view reports inside the Site Manager. You can also show progress meters for recurring stewardship and/or capital/charitable campaigns right on your website with charts and graphs for "Recent Donations" and "Top Donors"; all information shown on the website is anonymous, without names or email addresses. This motivates and inspires others to give.
Another great benefit of integration is that you can show your parishioners in real time where things stand with regard to stewardship and campaigns. You can also enter offline donations to update your progress meters as well.

If you do not use Tithe.ly
You do not need a Tithe.ly account to use the donation screens. A parish taking gifts through Stripe, Square, PayPal, Authorize.Net or Intuit QuickBooks gets the same campaigns, donor list, transactions, reports and progress meters.
Two differences are worth knowing before you choose:
- Recent Donations and Top Donors charts come from Tithe.ly and are not available for the other processors.
- Recurring giving is offered by Stripe, Square, PayPal and Authorize.Net, and by Tithe.ly through its own giving form. Intuit QuickBooks takes one-time gifts only.
