Hiding a page

You may hide a page by removing it from the menu systems. This can be done either when creating a new page or when adjusting the properties of an existing page. While working with the page properties, modify the following under "Menus":

  • Main Menu: select "Yes" or "No" to show or hide this page on the main menu.
  • Drop Down Menu: select "Yes" or "No" to show or hide this page on the drop down menu, then enter the text which will be displayed on the drop down menu. Please note: Not all sites have a drop down menu.
  • Subpage Menu: select "Yes" or "No" to show or hide this page on the subpage menu, then enter the text which will be displayed on the subpage menu.

If you need additional protection for the development area, you can password protect the page and its subpages under "Security". Please note that when logged in to the Site Manager, you will not be prompted to enter credentials to see the protected page(s), this is because the system has already authenticated you as the administrator.
