Site Manager includes a built-in Content Block Library that allows you to quickly insert professionally designed sections into your pages. These blocks are provided by Orthodox Web Solutions and include common layouts and content elements that help you build pages faster without having to create each section from scratch.
What Are Content Blocks?
Content blocks are prebuilt sections that can be inserted into any page while editing. They may include layouts such as text sections, photo layouts, countdown timers, and other commonly used page components.
Each block is designed to work seamlessly with the Site Manager editor and automatically adapts to the layout of the page where it is inserted.
How to Insert a Content Block
- Edit the page where you want to insert the content block.
- Click Create Section in the location where the new section should appear.
- Choose Content Block from the section type options.
- The Content Block Library will open.
- Browse the available blocks and preview them.
- Click Insert on the block you want to add.
Once inserted, the new section will appear on the page and will automatically be highlighted so you can easily locate it and begin editing the content.
Using Content Blocks with Column Layouts
When inserting content inside existing column layouts, Site Manager automatically displays only the blocks that are compatible with that layout. This helps prevent structural conflicts and ensures the block will display correctly.
Editing Inserted Content Blocks
After a block is inserted, it becomes a normal section on your page. You can edit the text, images, or other content exactly the same way you would edit any other section in Site Manager.
The block simply provides a starting layout to make page creation faster and easier.
Tips for Using the Library
- Use content blocks to quickly build new pages using proven layouts.
- After inserting a block, customize the text and images to match your site.
- Blocks can be inserted anywhere a normal section can be created.
- You can add multiple blocks to the same page to build more complex layouts.
