Donations: Campaigns

Campaigns allow you to organize and track fundraising efforts on your website. Each campaign represents a specific giving purpose such as a building fund, iconography project, or special appeal.

Campaigns are synchronized with your giving platform and allow visitors to select the purpose of their donation when contributing online.

Accessing Campaigns

To manage donation campaigns, go to:

Donations → Campaigns

This page displays a list of all campaigns along with their goal, the amount received, and their current status.

Creating a Campaign

To create a new campaign:

  1. Go to Donations → Campaigns
  2. Click Create Campaign
  3. Enter the campaign information
  4. Click Save

Campaign Fields

  • Name – The title of the campaign (examples: Building Fund, New Gospel Book, Iconography Project).
  • Goal – The amount you hope to raise for this campaign.
  • Description – Additional information explaining the purpose of the campaign.
  • Image – An optional image used when displaying the campaign on your website.

Campaign Periodicity

Campaigns can run during a specific date range or recur automatically.

  • Custom Dates – Run the campaign during a defined start and finish date.
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Semi-annually
  • Annually

If Custom Dates is selected, you may optionally specify a start and finish date for the campaign.

Tracking Donations

The campaigns list shows:

  • Goal – The target amount for the campaign.
  • Received – The total amount donated so far.
  • Status – Whether the campaign is active, hidden, or archived.

You can also view individual donations for a campaign by clicking View Transactions from the campaign menu.

Editing Campaigns

To modify a campaign:

  1. Go to Donations → Campaigns
  2. Click the Edit icon next to the campaign
  3. Update the desired fields
  4. Click Save

Once donations have been recorded under a campaign, the campaign name cannot be changed.
