Typical file types include:
- PDF documents
- Audio files (MP3)
- Office documents (DOC, XLS, PPT)

Uploading Files
- Navigate to Media → Files.
- Open the directory where the file should be stored.
- Drag files into the upload area or click to select files from your computer.
After uploading, the file becomes immediately available for linking within your website.
Organizing Files
It is recommended to organize files using directories. You can create folders to group related files together, such as:
- Bulletins
- Audio recordings
- Documents
- Forms
To create a directory:
- Enter a directory name in the Create a new directory field.
- Click Create.
Managing Files
The Files interface allows you to perform several actions:
- Rename a file
- Duplicate a file
- Delete a file
- Move files to another directory
- Copy files to another directory
Multiple files can be selected and processed together using the Apply Action menu.
Browsing and Searching Files
Files can be viewed in two modes:
- Thumbnail view – displays file icons in a visual grid.
- Detailed list – displays filenames, sizes, extensions, and last modified dates.
You can also search for files using the search field or filter files by type.
Important Notes
- Unlike images, moving files may break links to those files if they are already used on pages.
- For large video content, it is recommended to use video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo rather than uploading video files directly.
- Organizing files into directories helps keep your media library manageable.
