The first step in getting listed on search engines is submitting your site to them. You can submit your site to Google as follows:

Quality material on your site and links from other sites will also aid in higher search engine ranking. If there are particular words that you want to be indexed under, you need to be sure to use those words on your site. The driving directions page is a good way to work in the names of various towns.
It does take time, usually a couple of weeks to a month, for the submission to be processed.
