Adding a New Page

Navigate to Media → Pages in the Site Manager to view all your website pages in a hierarchical tree structure. You can expand or collapse page branches to see the full organization of your site.

Click the "Create page" button to open the page properties form. Pages are created in two steps:

  1. Configure page properties (this guide) – settings and appearance
  2. Add content – actual page content using sections

Page Properties Overview

Basic Information

This section defines your page's identity and how it appears in URLs:

  • Title: The main heading that appears in navigation and at the top of the page
  • Page Name: The URL-friendly name (e.g., "about-us" becomes "yoursite.com/about-us.html")
  • Optional Redirect: Send visitors to another page or external website

Tip: Leave the page name blank when creating a new page, and the system will automatically generate it from your title.

Menus

Control where your page appears in your site's navigation. You can show a page in multiple areas or hide it entirely:

  • Main Menu: Primary site navigation
  • Dropdown Menu: Secondary navigation under parent pages
  • Subpage Menu: Navigation within the page content
  • Mega Menu: Large dropdown for complex sites

Common scenarios:

  • Most pages appear in the Main Menu
  • Hide pages that should only be accessed via links
  • Use Mega Menus for large sites

Panels

Panels are reusable content blocks that appear in specific areas of your site.

  • Sidebar (Side 1–2): Navigation or supplemental content
  • Middle (1–4): Content within the page body
  • Lower (1–4): Content below the main area
  • Bottom (1–2): Footer-style content

Each position can be set to:

  • Default: Use template settings
  • None: Show nothing
  • Custom Panel: Select a specific panel

Tip: Use panels to display reusable content across multiple pages.

Page Title Block

This section controls the header area at the top of your page.

  • Show or hide the title block
  • Adjust alignment, layout, and visibility of title and breadcrumbs
  • Set width and height (desktop and mobile)

Appearance options include:

  • Theme (light or dark)
  • Background color
  • Background images

Common uses:

  • Large banner images
  • Consistent section headers
  • Hidden title blocks for landing pages

Images

Select up to 5 images for use in the page title block when using a random background image.

Security

Control who can access this page:

  • Username and password: Shared login
  • Passcode: Simple access code
  • Any account login: Any registered user
  • Specific accounts: Selected users only

You can also apply protection to all subpages.

Publishing

Control when your page is available to visitors:

  • Status: Published or Draft
  • Publish Start: Schedule when the page becomes available
  • Publish End: Automatically remove the page after a date
  • Season: Display only during selected church seasons

Important: Publishing does not control menu visibility. Use the Menus section to manage navigation.

Meta Tags

These settings help search engines and social media:

  • Description: Appears in search results
  • Keywords: Relevant search terms
  • Robots: Control indexing behavior
  • Verification codes: For tools like Google Search Console

Tip: Write unique descriptions for important pages.
