Changing your template

You can change the design of your website at any time by selecting a different template.

To change your template, go to:

Design → Templates

Browse the available templates and click "Use this template" on the design you would like to apply. Your website content will remain unchanged when switching templates. After selecting a new template, refresh your website in your browser to see the updated design.

We recommend using one of the newer templates, as these are fully responsive and automatically adjust to different screen sizes including smartphones, tablets, and large desktop monitors.

Template Types

Orthodox Web Solutions offers several design options depending on the level of customization you would like for your website.

  • Standard Templates – These are professionally designed templates available to all clients and can be activated instantly.
  • Advanced Templates – These templates provide additional customization options and layout flexibility while still allowing you to manage the design directly within the Site Manager.
  • Custom Designs – Our design team can create a completely unique website design tailored specifically to your church or organization.

Panels and Layout

Many templates support panels that allow you to display additional content in areas such as the sidebars, homepage sections, and footer.

Panels can be managed here:

Design → Panels

These panels allow you to add announcements, images, links, or other content to specific areas of your website layout.

Responsive Templates

Modern templates are designed to be responsive, meaning they automatically adjust to smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices. Since many visitors now access websites from mobile devices, we strongly recommend using one of these responsive designs.

Responsive templates can be selected from the Templates page within the Site Manager.
