Automatic Image Resizing
The Site Manager includes an automatic image resizing feature to optimize your images for web usage and prevent viewing or downloading issues.
How Auto-Resize Works
The system automatically resizes uploaded images to ensure optimal website performance. Images that are too large in dimensions or file size can cause problems for visitors trying to view or download content.
Auto-Resize Specifications
- Maximum dimensions: 1600 pixels in height or width
- Maintains aspect ratio: Images are proportionally resized
- Automatic processing: Happens during upload
Manual Resizing (Alternative Approach)
If you prefer to resize images before uploading:
Recommended Settings
- Maximum size: 1600 × 1600 pixels
- Format: Maintain original format (JPEG, PNG, etc.)
Disabling Auto-Resize
Once you've pre-resized your images:
- Go to "Images" settings
- Turn off the "auto-resize" option
Why Image Optimization Matters
Properly sized images ensure:
- Faster page loading times
- Better user experience
- Reduced server storage usage
- Improved website performance across all devices
Choose the approach that best fits your workflow: automatic resizing for convenience or manual resizing for greater control.
