Header/Footer

The Header/Footer feature allows you to add content that will automatically appear above or below the main content of your website pages. This is useful for displaying announcements, alerts, notices, or additional information that should appear site-wide.

Accessing Header and Footer Settings

To manage the site header or footer, navigate to:

Administration → Header/Footer

Header

The header content appears above the main page content throughout your website.

You may enter text, images, or formatted HTML content in the header editor. The editor supports rich text formatting, allowing you to add links, styling, and other visual elements.

To display the header on your website:

  • Enable the Display header switch
  • Click Save

If the switch is turned off, the header content will remain saved but will not be displayed on the website.

Footer

The footer content appears below the main page content across your website.

Like the header, the footer supports formatted text and HTML content and can be used for notices, contact information, copyright statements, or additional links.

To display the footer on your website:

  • Enable the Display footer switch
  • Click Save

Turning the switch off hides the footer without deleting its content.

Common Uses

Administrators often use the header or footer for:

  • Service or event announcements
  • Emergency notices
  • Seasonal messages
  • Important parish updates
  • Copyright or contact information

Because the header and footer appear site-wide, they provide a convenient way to display important information across your entire website without modifying individual pages.
