Password protecting pages

You can password protect a page and its subpages by going to "Pages" then "properties" next to the desired page. Under "Security", change "Use Password Protection" to "Yes". Then enter the username and password which you would like to use. Finally, select whether or not you want to "Protect Subpages".

Once the above changes have been saved, visitors to this page will be prompted for the username and password you entered before they can view the contents of the page.

Please note, however, that if you are logged into the Site Manager, you will not be prompted for the username and password on the password protected pages/areas because the system realizes that you are authenticated as the administrator. To test the password protection, please be sure to log out of the Site Manager first.

If you need help protecting files in the "Files" area, please just let us know.
