The Facebook Like/Share plugin allows you to add Facebook engagement buttons to your website. These buttons allow visitors to like, recommend, or share pages directly on Facebook, helping increase visibility and traffic to your site.
Accessing the Facebook Plugin
Navigate to:
Social → Plugins → Facebook Like/Share
This page allows you to control where the Facebook buttons appear and how they behave.
Display Locations
You can choose where the Facebook Like/Share buttons appear on your website.
Header
Controls whether the Facebook buttons appear in the page header.
- No – The buttons will not appear in the header.
- Yes, use page URL – The button references the specific page being viewed.
- Yes, domain – The button references the website’s main domain instead of the specific page.
You can also choose the horizontal alignment of the header buttons:
- Left
- Center
- Right
Footer
Controls whether the Facebook buttons appear in the site footer.
The same options are available as the header:
- No
- Yes, use page URL
- Yes, domain
Footer buttons also support left, center, or right alignment.
"More Info" Pages
This setting controls whether Facebook buttons appear on article-style pages such as news items or other content pages that display detailed information.
Options include:
- No
- Yes, use page URL
- Yes, domain
You can also select the alignment for this location.
Button Settings
The Settings section controls how the Facebook button itself is displayed.
Layout
Determines the visual style of the button.
- standard – Shows the Like button with text.
- box_count – Displays the number of likes above the button.
- button_count – Shows the like count beside the button.
- button – A compact button with minimal styling.
Action Type
Controls the type of engagement displayed on the button.
- Like – Standard Facebook like button.
- Recommend – Displays a recommend button instead.
Show Share
When enabled, a Share button appears alongside the Like button, allowing visitors to share the page on Facebook.
Show Faces
When enabled, profile images of Facebook users who have liked the page may appear next to the button.
Color Scheme
Controls the color style of the button to better match your website design.

Saving Changes
After adjusting your settings, click Save to apply the changes. The Facebook Like/Share buttons will update automatically wherever they are displayed on your site.
